The boys swim and dive team swam against Lee’s Summit North, Kearney and Platte County on October 9 at home. It was also senior night for both North and West. Eight seniors will be graduating this year from the swim and dive team: Collin Adams, Joe Snodgrass, Charlie Pagan, Austin Todd, Chance Smith, Nate O’Connor, Justin Cline and Timmy Briseno.

“For it being our last home meet ever as an LSW swimmer, it was sad, but being able to swim a good meet made up for it,” said senior Collin Adams.

Senior Nate O’Connor swam a 22.73 in the 50 free, placing first. Junior Ben Peterson swam a 1:57.74 in the 200 free, placing third, and sophomore Nik Ekborg-Ott swam a 2:14.68 in the 200 individual medley, placing third.

The boys swim team has their next meet this weekend in Independence at the KC Classic.
