Record amount of athletes sign for college

Yesterday was the last National Signing Day for any student athletes graduating in the class of 2018. Lee’s Summit West has 25 athletes sign spread out across seven different sports. This signing class is the largest in the history of West.

The signing class included nine women’s soccer players and seven of

the 25 athletes head to a Division I college, the highest level in college athletics. Headlined by 4-star DB Mario Goodrich, who announced that he is committing to the University of Clemson just hours before he signed, the stands were filled with friends, family, coaches and teammates. From youngsters to high school athletes, their dreams are fulfilled by signing to play at the next level.
