The West girls’ basketball team dribbled their way onto the court on Monday, December 17 against Lee’s Summit North. It was a tough battle but unfortunately the Lady Titans came up short to the Lady Broncos 49-42.
“I think we played hard. We just came up a little short,” said Sophomore Kelsey Shanahan.
Shanahan said that if the team rebounded a little more, they definitely would have come up with a victory.
“They rebounded more than us and with the rebounds, they made points,” said Shanahan.
The team has a tournament in Jefferson City up next on their agenda.
