10 outstanding students from my Chinese 2/3 class  did a community
project on Dec 15. What once started as a class project was to write a puppet
play using body parts vocabulary with a theme of “loving the way you
are.” According to instructor May Liang “All my Chinese students voted for  three best puppet plays,  and
these groups went to perform for the children at  Chinese School of
Greater Kansas City, a local Taiwanese Chinese school for heritage
students of Chinese” The students spoke everything in Chinese in the
puppet show, and was very well received by the Chinese community.
