What are your plans after retiring?

“My husband and I are moving to Stockton Missouri. We have a pontoon on the lake, and we are looking forward to fishing and life in a small town.  I plan to take a semester off, and then I will return to teaching at the college level.”

What is your favorite memory at West?

“I really don’t have a favorite memory–there are so many.  Most of my favorite memories involve my kids. But I have to admit that I remember the day that Dr. Bateman told me that Dave Sharp had been selected as our new building principal. I was  very pumped about that one.”

What will you miss most about West?

“Well, I am really going to miss being around teenagers.  I will miss the occasional opportunity to work Brad Rackers in the theater.  I will miss my amazing Kindness Council group. I will miss Mrs. White, Mrs. Mosier, Mr. Davis, Mrs. Denker, (who have become like family to me), and I will miss that adorable Mark Lutman.  I will miss the occasional intellectual conversation with Mr. Little, and I will miss Mr. Parrish’s determined walk!  I will also miss our amazing librarians.”
